P4/5 – Joanne McAuley
Joanne is our Primary 4/5 teacher and is in her 14th year of teaching.
She comes from Dublin but now lives in Belfast. She graduated from St. Mary’s Training College, Belfast where she specialised in French. As part of her course, she spent one year Teaching as an English Language Assistant in a college in the Auvergne Region in France. She once again had the opportunity three years ago to spend a week in the south of France along with other Primary School teachers to brush up on her French (What a stressful life!) Vive la France!
She of course loves the French culture and dreams of owning a small villa in France – Keep dreaming!! While she waits to win the lottery and jet off to France she can be seen conducting the wonderful school choir at Wednesday morning Mass in school!
