I hope you will find your visit useful as well as enjoyable. At the ‘click of a mouse’ you can access key information about our Parish services as well as getting a ‘feel’ for our vibrant Parish community and an insight into life in this beautiful part of the Ards Peninsula.
The Recent Events page is always up to speed, so whether you are at home or abroad, you can keep up to date with Liturgical Celebrations and coverage of social activities which record life ‘as it is’.
Nothing could be truer than the phrase – ‘Learning is life-long’– I encourage you, no matter what stage/age you are at, to open the School link from time to time. St. Mary’s PS is renowned for excellence in all aspects of education – the School link allows you to share in the excitement of growing in faith, in learning and having fun.
If you have any comments or questions or would like to send your greetings please use our Guestbook. I promise to do my best to reply when it’s appropriate.
Our Parish Organisations section is currently being developed – use it to find out more about committees, activities and organisations (which includes our very own Ballycran GAC) – there’s something there to interest everyone.
Thank you for visiting, why not add the web address to your Favourites and share the link with family and friends?
With every Blessing,
Father Colm McBride PP

Our Parish Logo, which is used on our website and other Parish literature, was inspired by the ideas and suggestions of a Parish youth group, in celebration of the Jubilee Year (2000)
The Lily represents the Church of Mount St. Joseph. The Acorns are a symbol of the wonderful potential of the young people of the Parish. The Radiant Star represents the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea and the Oak Tree stands for the experience and wisdom of the adult Parishioners.
The symbols are set against an outline of the two Churches in our Parish and the base of waves reminds us of Strangford Lough on our Western boundary and the Irish Sea on the East.
